First Haircuts and Great BIG BUGS!

The boys LOVE to rough around with each other, but of course we are always worried someone will end up hurt. We are always trying to reign in Sebastian, when often times Matteo just goes begging for it...watch. It's pretty funny.

Went to the park earlier this week and Sebastian was fascinated with the kids flying kites. So we found his kite from last year and took it with us to the park the other day. It was only occasionally windy, but he still had a great time flying Mickey.

We've been working on some "potty training/learning" lately and we are finally having an occasional success. Yippie! Sebastian is a stubborn one, but he sure was proud when he finally had something to celebrate!

And sometimes....well...he gets a little distracted on the potty. =) And yes, this is his "Old McDonald" cup that he likes to keep around as long as possible. I guess for some reason it's just so much cooler than his other cups...

Matteo wanted to get in on the coloring action this week, so I let him play with some crayons for the first time. He did great for about 1 minute when he decided that eating them and throwing them on the floor would be more fun. =)

Meanwhile, Sebastian was getting really creative. He's telling me now what he's drawing, which is a lot of fun.

His latest masterpiece...GREAT BIG BUGS! This one's a keeper.

New England Aquarium in Boston

Saturday we tackled the aquarium. It was a fun day!

At the end we did the penny press machine, which Sebastian thought was super cool.

As you can tell, he loved his special souvenir!

Matteo's Birthday DAY

On Matteo's actual birthday, we wanted to make sure he enjoyed his day. We went to a park with a playground that was just his size. At first he wasn't too sure about climbing around on things, but after a bit...

He was having a ball playing like a big kid.

He loved going down the slide with Mami and eventually wanted to go by himself (with some help of course!).

Then it was time for a quick nap. So sweet... He was exhausted.

After his nap we took him to the buffet at Sweet Tomatoes. He LOVED it. I think he sampled most of the things on the salad bar, along with pasta and his new favorite - JELLO!

Later that evening we had all the grandparents over and sang happy birthday again with some cupcakes. It was a great and special day. Still can't believe my little guy is one! Wow!

The Orlando girl friends with the Round 2 babies. So glad that they were able to come out to Melbourne for the party! We tried to get a picture with the "big boys" but they were too busy on the playground to stop and pose for the camera...

Matteo with Nathan, his first friend. We met at the local hospital's breastfeeding support group. They were born a day apart!
