Birthday, Outdoor Fun and FISH!

Titi turned 50 and we celebrated in style with cake and pastries from the little Colombian bakery.

Matteo couldn't wait to take a bite out of that huge Merengue/Suspiro!

This is a daily occurrence at our house. We spend most of the afternoon playing in the backyard, especially the last month or so since the weather has been so beautiful. They love to roll around in the grass and rough-house. Tears usually ensue at some point, but for the most part it is all fun and games.

My new favorite picture of my two handsome boys.

This little one can be such a daredevil sometimes!

He loves playing with his t-ball set. And he can actually hit the ball too!

Playing in the dirt pile. But as soon as dirt gets in the shoes, the shoes come off!

Making his, "I'm a scary monster face!" at Mami.

This weekend we went to the pet store (Sebastian calls it the animal center for some reason...) to get fish. We decided it was time because Sebastian picked out a tiny toy aquarium as his special toy after visiting the dentist this week and he wouldn't stop talking about it. So we found the aquarium, set it all up and headed out to get some goldfish.

They were both very interested and excited.

Pouring in the newest members of our family into their new home!

Proud! Every morning he wants to check on the fish right away and after dinner he always runs to feed the fish their dinner. =) I think they are enjoying the new fish - Dinky and Dusty. Don't ask. That's just what he came up with....?? Who knows.....

Labor Day Weekend

We geared up for a fun Labor Day weekend hosting family and friends and of course, kicking off the Gator football season. We finally had my best friend Sarah and her family over to the house and everyone had a great time. Our game days sure have changed!!! =)

Playing outside with the water toys.

Splashing poor Chase.

After lots of playing outside the boys were ready for some football!

Note how the kids took up the whole couch! We just watched the game standing up and chasing after them mostly. But at least we got to watch it! We don't have cable so I thought for sure we would be watching it online, but it turns out our long cable to connect our computer to the TV came so we were able to hook everything up and watch the game on our TV via ESPN.com. It worked out great!

Matteo was pretty into it. Anytime he sees a gator he goes "chomp, chomp" and Sebastian has "orange and blue" chants down pat this season.

Took a break from the game for some hot dogs for lunch.

Sunday we had our families over to grill for lunch. We had yummy steak and just hung out. Then after, of course the kids went out to play in the water.

I love this picture. He is on such a mission - what an expression!

Matteo just likes to climb in and out of the pool.

Sebastian and Tyler just relaxing.

Great shot by Aunt Sarah of Sebastian and Uncle Corey.

Watching large, mysterious fish flop around in the pond behind our house. I think it's the only picture were they are all together in the shot, so I had to use it!! =) Happy Labor Day!

Playing in the Rain and well....just playing!

Most afternoons when Paul gets home from work, he finds us outside playing. Paul will usually change and then come outside to play while I go inside to make dinner. So last week, I was busily cooking away for my family when I heard rain and saw my three boys standing soaking wet on the porch. But they didn't stay there for long After they made sure there was no thunder and lightening, they headed back out. Sebastian LOVES to play IN the rain...

Out they go...Matteo wasn't too sure about the whole bit...

It's raining!

Daddy and Sebastian playing airplanes in the rain.

Matteo loves to wear these car slippers and walk around the house in them. So funny.

Reason #101 that I love nursing a toddler. Those milk smiles are priceless....

Where's my silly boy!?! =) Muah!

My boys love putting random toys in this toy blender. Here they are blending a plastic pig and matchbox car as they ooo and ahh in excitement. I don't think little girls do this....

They are both very interesting in coloring these days. Matteo is starting to really get the hang of crayons. It's so cute because whatever motions Sebastian does on the paper he tries to copy. We now have artwork from two little boys!
