Random October Fun

IMG_1725

We spent the morning at the airport with my Dad the weekend that Paul was on a Men’s Retreat at church.  Sebastian actually wanted to go down the taxiway in the airplane, so off he went!

Luca hangs out in the highchair while I fold laundry or clean the floors.  And his brother’s have fun putting hats on him.  Luckily he’s usually a good sport.

He’s starting to like his tummy much more now and is trying to get places already!!! Eks!

I found him about 5 feet away from his blanket I put him on for playtime.  He was whining because he wedged his legs under his changing table.  Oh boy…things are going to be changing around our house soon!

The boys celebrated Uncle Corey’s birthday.  And happy birthday to Aunt Kim and Uncle Jeff too!  So many October birthdays!

Anyone remember these?  Shrinky-dinks!  That you color and put in the oven so they shrink?!?!  I used to LOVE them.  Uncle Corey gave some to Sebastian and we had lots of fun.

Bad picture of Mami, but cute picture of Luca.  We have mastered the back carry in the Maya and we both LOVE it.  Has made many things much easier lately!

A couple of videos too….

Late night chats with Luca.

Sebastian’s first joke.  Okay, so I don’t think he really understands what a joke is yet, but it was still cute. =)

Little Memories…

These are just some pictures from the last few weeks of August.  Little moments and memories that if not “captured” in some way will someday be forgotten.  The everyday stuff that is ME right now.  I don’t want to forget them. They help me remember how blessed I am.

The boys having fun…while Mami has fun!

Lately, I have had some commitments and fun things to do with my friends so Daddy has gotten to spend some time with the boys.  This is a bit of a mishmash, but you get the idea…

We hosted a baby shower for our friend Jessica at the house.  With lots of yummy things besides goldfish and juice boxes.  =)

The Mami’s from our breastfeeding group.  So nice that we all still get together, even if it’s only occasionally!

Even though it was last minute, our La Leche League group hosted “The Big Latch On” during World Breastfeeding Week.  We managed to book the library (a little drama there because at first the secretary said she didn’t know if we could host our even there because *gasp* we would be breastfeeding and people might look in the windows!  Luckily, the library director knew better and let us have the room without further issue) and get the word out in less than one month.  Moms signed in as they arrived.

I was going to be happy with 10 moms showing up. I was ecstatic when we had 28 moms, more than 40 people at our first ever event.  Woo-hoo!  Way to go Brevard County!

Playing in the Rain and well....just playing!

Most afternoons when Paul gets home from work, he finds us outside playing. Paul will usually change and then come outside to play while I go inside to make dinner. So last week, I was busily cooking away for my family when I heard rain and saw my three boys standing soaking wet on the porch. But they didn't stay there for long After they made sure there was no thunder and lightening, they headed back out. Sebastian LOVES to play IN the rain...

Out they go...Matteo wasn't too sure about the whole bit...

It's raining!

Daddy and Sebastian playing airplanes in the rain.

Matteo loves to wear these car slippers and walk around the house in them. So funny.

Reason #101 that I love nursing a toddler. Those milk smiles are priceless....

Where's my silly boy!?! =) Muah!

My boys love putting random toys in this toy blender. Here they are blending a plastic pig and matchbox car as they ooo and ahh in excitement. I don't think little girls do this....

They are both very interesting in coloring these days. Matteo is starting to really get the hang of crayons. It's so cute because whatever motions Sebastian does on the paper he tries to copy. We now have artwork from two little boys!
