We were so lucky to have my Abuela come visit us in Rochester this past week. We had a wonderful week and it was so nice to have here around to enjoy the kids and spend time together. Being so close to Niagara Falls, we decided to road trip there for the day so she could fulfill one of her dreams - seeing the Falls. What a wonderful day we had - it will always be a very special memory in my heart.

Leaves! Leaves! Leaves!
A two-year old boy, a mountain of leaves and a beautiful afternoon. Enough said. It really is nice to enjoy the fun part of seasons!

Vacations, BIG Moving News and Matteo's on the Move!
After finding good fares to JFK, we decided to visit my Titi Mayra, Tio Frank and Ricky in CT. I called my Boston family and my dad and declared it an early family thanksgiving. =) Thankfully, my Titi Mayra thought it was a great idea and hosted everyone fabulously for the weekend. We had a great time with the family and enjoyed sharing even bigger news - that our next move will be to Lowell, MA, right outside of Boston! We are so thrilled to be near family and excited to add a new state to our "lived in" list.
Serious boy. Really wanting to crawl!
Sebastian in his footsie jammies.

Everyone was full of gifts for the boys. Titi Mayra got Sebastian a Mr. Potato Head which has been a huge hit!
My cousin Arlene and husband Jonathan had some special gifts for the boys too. We are so excited that we will be nearby when they have their first baby this March - a new Silva cousin!
Fun game with Lelo - throwing the snowman ball up and down!
And as a side note....on Sunday night Matteo really wanted to get to these foam letters that Sebastian got as a gift from his cousins. He wanted to get there so badly that he actually started a funny scoot/crawl thing!!! In the span of two days he is now completely mobile with his funny little crawl. I will try to get a better video later, but here is his first one of him moving around at home. It's a whole new ballgame now!!
My cousin Ricky is an ever faithful blog follower and had a great time seeing the boys and meeting Matteo. Here he is playing with his littlest cousin!
Sunday morning, before the end of our family party, we had a toast to all the great things the new year will bring. A new baby for Arlene and Jonathan and us moving to be near Boston! We hope to be able to hang out with everyone again come January. It was a fantastic weekend - thank you to everyone!

Happy Halloween!
Sorry this post is a bit late. For the first time we had serious computer problems and had to completely wipe our computer to fix it. Thank goodness I am obsessive about backing up photos or we would have lost them all! So here is a glimpse at our Halloween this year!
My Timmy Tebow. I tricked him and told him I wiped the black lines off his face after I did it. At the end of the day he saw himself in a mirror, noticed them and started crying. Tricky Mami.
Matteo the tiger.
The Children's Museum had toddler trick or treating on Friday - it was great since it was all little kids. Sebastian had a great time asking for his treats. We missed Daddy - he was on his first business trip and was gone for 3 days! We all survived, but sure were happy when he returned late Friday night.

Putting candy in his treat bag. He didn't really care about the candy, but he loved the plastic spiders and stickers he got.
Sleeping in Elmo's bed.
Sebastian loves playing with our cell phones and walks around having conversations. Then he climbed in his car and started driving around...uh oh. I hope he isn't imitating anyone...
I am a huge picture taker (obviously!) always subjecting the kids to tons of pictures. The other night Sebastian noticed the sunset outside our living room window. He came over to me and I explained the sun was setting, going night-night and we'd see it again tomorrow. He thought this was so cool! Then he said, "Mami, lindo (pretty), take picture!" It made me smile that he recognized it was a special moment he wanted to capture with a picture...so sweet.
Daddy's home and it's pumpkin carving time - our seriously massive pumpkin!
Wow!!!
No, Mami, please don't make me touch it!!!!
Everything that came out of our pumpkin. I toasted pumpkin seeds and made Matteo some pumpkin/apple puree - his new favorite.
Our finished cat jack-o-lantern. Nice!
Matteo really wants everyone's food! And he tries to pull himself up on us all the time.
Making pumpkin cookies with Mami. Again, another moment Sebastian asked us to capture on camera for him. =)
This is a little bear puppet named Tossi that was mine as a kid. Sebastian has recently discovered it and loves him! This morning they were looking out the window together. =)
We are off to Connecticut this weekend for a mini-vacation and visit with our New England family. Lelo is coming too and Sebastian can't wait to see him and get on the airplane!
