Puerto Rico Vacation - Hanging out with the Family

Whew! What a wonderful week we spent in Puerto Rico! We had not been back since Sebastian was a baby about 2 years ago so it was nice to be back. And it was Matteo's first visit. Since I have more than 2,000 pictures to sort through from the week and Abuela's 80th birthday fiesta, there will be quite a few posts about Puerto Rico so I can get caught up. So here we go!

Since our flight left so early out of Boston Logan, we stayed at the Hyatt at the airport the night before. As we pulled into the hotel, the GPS said, "arriving at Logan Airport Hyatt" and Sebastian immediately got giddy excited and started saying, "baby Logan! Baby Logan here?! See baby Logan!" It was so sweet that he thought he was going to see his cousin, but alas, it was not so. At least he was excited about staying at the hotel.

Six AM and happy to be on the bus to the airport. When he saw the bus he said "H - Y - A -T -T, that spells Sebastian!" Everything spells Sebastian these days.

After a long day of traveling and no nap, Sebastian fell asleep on the way to my Titi Mayra's house. He had been so excited to see his Angelica and little did he know that as he snoozed, she was sitting patiently, waiting for him to wake up to play.

This face says it all. I don't think he's ever woken up happier from a nap.

And speaking of happy times, Tia Mireya, my Abuela's youngest sister came as a surprise to her 80th birthday party. They dressed her up in these bows and once she came out, the tears started flowin'! Here are the three happy sisters.

My Titi Consuelo made Abuela a special print for her birthday. It was beautiful!

Tia Elsa being cool.

Matteo with Apapa en el balcon.

Trying to climb. He is really taking little steps now. Two or three at a time, but not quite walking on his own yet....soon!

Singing Happy Birthday to Abu. We really missed Daniel, Emily and Logan, but since Logan had just been sick, they were unable to travel.

Snack time!

They loved the piano.

Me with my Mama.

Las Chicas!
