Happy Early Birthday to Sebastian!

We decided to have an early birthday celebration for Sebastian in Boston before we leave for Florida (where we'll be for his actual birthday). Sebastian has been talking non-stop about his birthday party - the decorations, the cake, the presents, who's going to be there....he just goes on and on. He is always saying, "Mami - I'm going to be twfree!!!"

Frosting the rocket cake.

Decorating the rocket cake with M&Ms.

Very happy with his work. Now it was time to go to bed and he did not want us to cover up his rocket cake.

This afternoon before his first guests arrived!

We had fun this week making the letters for his birthday banner.

Kathy, his OT, and Sebastian playing on his favorite - the scooter board. We were sad that it was our last time playing with Kathy since he "graduates" out of the program as he turns 3.

Laughing it up with Marcia and Kathy before he opened his present. We sure are going to miss these sweet ladies! Sebastian just adores them!

What a neat gift! They had fun building helicopters and boats.

Playing with another favorite toy of Kathy's for the last time.

Once our other guests arrived (Titi Arlyn, Jacqueline, Rima and the boys), Matteo took the chance to show off his new found climbing skills...

Matteo, chairs are for sitting....

Then it was dinner time. At Sebastian's request we had hot dogs and chips.

Trying to get everyone fed!

More party guests eating dinner.

3 -2- 1 Blast Off!!!!

Our third time singing - this time for Nana and Papa on Skype. =)

It looked so cool!

This was the first year he was excited about opening presents. He got a really cool, RC Car from Titi Arlyn and Tio Frasqui, a beautiful traditional shirt from Rima and the boys and....

...the hit of the party, a stomp rocket toy from the Arlene, Jonathan, David and Jacqueline. And boy did these rockets really shoot up! Everyone had a blast with it. Sebastian refused to take a bath. He didn't want to go to bed. We finally convinced him at 9 pm!

Then Daddy had to get creative to rescue the stranded rockets... Yay, Daddy!
