Just a few random pictures to enjoy. Unfortunately, we are having camera problems. My camera just broke so we need to buy a new one ASAP. And my mom's camera is great if we could only find the cord to download the pictures. It's a special cord, not the standard one so it's a big pain that we can't find it! Hopefully we'll find it soon though because we have some great pictures of Sebastian with his Tia Api Mayra and his Great Grandma! Hope that I can post them soon!

Adjusting to work...
I have some great news. On Monday, I spoke with my manager about working part-time and she said yes!!! I'm so glad because I really wanted to keep working at Scholastic, but just not every day. So from now on I'll work Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8-4:30 pm. This is the best of both worlds! Also, it works out a lot nicer for my mom because although I know she wouldn't mind watching him everyday, taking care of a baby full-time is a lot of work! =) God really does know what He's doing and He continues to bless us and answer our prayers. I'm so glad I get to be home with my baby two days a week! Here are the pictures I've been meaning to upload for the past few weeks. I thought I hardly had time before to post, and now that I'm working....whew....!!!

Talking up a storm with Mama.
Mommy is off to her first day of work.
So going back to work was an adjustment...I came home ready for my nap, but someone had other ideas. I'm sleeping and Sebastian's just being his curious self.

Quick Update
I survived my first week of work! It actually wasn't nearly as bad as I had expected. I went in on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and each day, the time just flew by! Of course, I was very anxious to get home to my little guy and left quite punctually each day. It was great to see my friends at work but it sure is hard to get back into the swing of things. It's going to take a little while...
Sebastian had a great time with Abuelita and she took lots of pictures so I could see exactly how his day went. I will try to post some of them later when I have more time. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers - I know they made it much easier to go back to work!

On Thursday, my friend from work Jen came over with her baby boy Finn. Our boys are only 8 days apart and were each other's first little friends - how special! They had a great day together sleeping, feeding and playing on the floor.
The proud mommies with our boys.
Proud cousin Angelica feeding Sebastian.
Just playing!
Just playing!
I go back to work on Monday, so please everyone keep me in your prayers! It's going to be a tough week! Luckily I am only going back part-time three days a week for a while so I can adapt a bit. My manager is wonderful and being super flexible so I can figure out this new mommy business. My mom will be watching Sebastian the three days I'm at work, although on Wednesdays Paul works from home so they will be at our house. I know Sebastian will be in the best hands with my mom, but I'm still going to miss my papito (endering term in Spanish for my little guy)!

This weekend we traveled to Gainesville to meet up with my brother Daniel. It's always nice to visit Gainesville - seems like yesterday we were in school there, yet it also seems so far away! We were very excited to have Sebastian visit Gainesville and UF since it is such a special place for Paul and I and since he is a baby Gator! My brother hadn't seen Sebastian since the baptism and found him so grown up! In the morning he was cooing and smiling and pumping away with his little legs. He is so cute! I just can't believe how fast he has changed - everyday he is doing new things.
Today, Sarah came over with Jackson (6 months) to play. The boys were cooing away at each other. It was so cute!
The Giammarinaro's with a Gator on the UF campus.
Sebastian literally "hanging out" with Albert and Alberta! Go Gators!
While in Gainesville, we met up with Julie and Jonathan and their little girl Rosemary (18 months). They had a ball playing together on the floor.

Home Again!
Greetings! It is nice to be back home! We had a wonderful time visiting family in Michigan and at my high school friend Brian's wedding in Indiana. We were gone for 10 days and it was truly a vacation - we really got to relax since we were staying with Paul's parents at the cottage on the lake and they were more than happy to entertain Sebastian and even change diapers! We spent our days catching up on sleep, playing cards, eating lots of yummy things like freshly picked raspberries, and just hanging out with the family. A big highlight was the annual Port Huron-Mackinac sailboat races the weekend we left. Over 200 boats sailed right past the cottage and it was beautiful!
Sebastian adapted very well to all of the changes and traveling. On the plane rides he was content in my sling mostly sleeping and nursing. He also loved all the attention while we were at the cottage and spent lots of time playing on the floor where he rolled over for the first time. In a matter of a week we saw lots of changes in him - it's amazing how fast the time goes!
Now it's back to trying to find a routine. Everyone asks how he is sleeping: pretty well. He only wakes up once a night and usually lets us sleep until 8 am or so. Next week is my last full week at home with him before I return to work. I'm anxious to go back because I hate to leave him, but at the same time I'm looking forward to being "out in the world" again. Luckily, my manager is allowing me to start out part-time, three days a week, until I fall into a better routine and am able to balance work and home. It's such a blessing and will make it so much easier to leave him. Also, we are lucky that my mom is going to be watching Sebastian part-time and I know that he will be happy, loved and enjoy being with his Abuelita.
This weekend we are off to Gainesville to meet up with Tio Daniel and see some friends. He'll be taking his first University of Florida tour and see our good old alma mater. Maybe he can apply for early admission? =) Enjoy the pics and thanks for checking in!
