Fall Activities

IMG_1943

We managed to do a little bit of fall crafting this year.  I would have liked to do so much more but between Luca wanting to be held and my craft cabinet being a complete wreck, we only did a little bit.  Matteo had fun painting the triangles.

And these were our final products – candy corn families!  The boys both LOVE candy corn – which is fine by us because it’s our favorite seasonal candy too!

Happy with his little family.

This little guy hung out in his exersaucer and watched us paint.

Sebastian’s class went on their first field trip.  It was down to the Produce Place close to the house.  The owner is the parent of former students and he always has the kids come to learn about cool fruits and veggies, see the giant truck and have some fall treats.  It’s nice that all our field trips are “family friendly!”

I think the favorite part was going into the giant walk in refrigerator. =)

Decorating pumpkins and having homemade goodies.  It was a challenge having all three on my own for a field trip, but thankfully it went pretty well!

My best friend Sarah came over with her boys to hang out one weekend.  Our local fire station was doing an open house so we headed there to check it out.

This was so sweet.  They were just holding hands on their own.  Such buddies.

When we got back home the kids decorated cookies…

And painted pumpkins.

I just couldn’t get him to stop chomping on those fingers!  Oh well, Happy Fall!
