Weekend Touring Rochester

This weekend we enjoyed nice cool weather, some rain and went to the Rochester Science Center and to Letchworth State Park. It was a great weekend of family time. We were glad to be able to visit the Science Center on Friday because this week Sebastian is going to camp at the Science Center. I know, camp for a 2 year old?! It's called "Mini Camp" and it's for 2-3 year olds with their parents for two hours in the morning. On Friday I was able to take him to his classroom so he could check it out and meet his teacher. It went pretty well and I'm so glad because lately he just screams in new situations and doesn't want to stay anywhere, so it's been tough. Hopefully our week will go well. The teacher was super nice and the classroom was amazing because the Science Center actually has a full preschool! I'm sure we'll have pictures to come.

Sebastian tries his hand at the pin table. I remember loving this when I was little.

Loved this.

Guess what Matteo found! His toes!

Ummm.....

Letchworth State Park is about 45 minutes south of us and they call it the Grand Canyon of the East. It certainly was beautiful and we all had a great time. Here are the two explorers on a little hike to the lower falls.

Mami with the boys at lower falls.

Father and son. While we were there Sebastian spotted a long legged spider and thought it was so cool. He kept searching for bugs and saying "itsy bitsy spider!"

Enjoying a picnic lunch.

The Glen Iris Restaurant and Inn - the grounds were beautiful.

Middle falls view from the Inn. Give you an idea of the size as you can see people walking on the path below. They are pretty big!
