Still playing catch up. Hoping to be done with November this week!!
So I busted out "Bertha" the enormous pregnancy pillow to wash it and the boys thought it made a good boat to sing, "Row, Row, Row" in.
Oh the brotherly love. Sebastian loves putting stickers all over Matteo and poor Matteo just lets him.
After they started bugging him, I put a shirt on him and Matteo again let Sebastian put stickers all over his face this time. Just like his big bro. That was only fun for...oh, about 2 minutes. =)
We tackled a big yard project a few weeks ago. We have this large area in our front yard that was looking awful. I should have taken a before picture, but this is the earliest I got out there. It was already looking way better at this point with all the weeds and dead plants removed.
We had to get all the lava rock out of that area because we were putting in a mini-courtyard. We got inspired watching HGTV one night and just decided to go for it. Perfect for "non-yard" people, because there is little to no upkeep!
The boys had so much fun that weekend. We spent a lot of time outside, the weather was perfect for yard work and they loved using the shovels to help Daddy with everything!
When they did want a break, the chalk was a big hit. Except Matteo likes to just roll it down the driveway....
Ta-da! (As Sebastian and Matteo would say.) This isn't quite 100% finished since I hadn't planted the plants yet and we hadn't poured in the river rock in between the pavers, but you get the idea. I'll post one later if I remember to take one. It looks GREAT!
This is what Matteo looks like when he is really, really, really mad and is throwing a tantrum like 20 month-olds can do so well.
And more....luckily this doesn't happen too often. But always good to capture on camera for blackmail someday.
Now this is the same afternoon. Look how happy he looks now. I swear, he can turn it on and off like a switch! He loves playing in the dirt and he will go to the dirt pile on the side of the house in the backyard, grab a handful and then chase his brother around as he threatens to dump it on him. Sebastian runs around like crazy, because he doesn't like dirt and being dirty. Could you ask for two more different boys?!
